Our Mission
White Rock Montessori serves Toddler-Middle School students in an accredited Montessori environment where opportunities to grow socially, emotionally, and academically establish a foundation for lifelong learning.
Accredited with the
American Montessori Society
As of January 2024, White Rock Montessori is now a fully Accredited American Montessori School! We are one of only 4 fully accredited AMS schools in the greater DFW area.
Per the AMS:
Accreditation by the American Montessori Society provides guidance, empowerment, and high ideals to help your school community implement and sustain the rigorous standards of quality Montessori education.
Accreditation by the American Montessori Society is the gold standard of Montessori school excellence—the highest level of recognition your Montessori school can achieve, and a highly visible indicator of your school’s quality.
Currently, about 15% of our member schools are AMS-accredited.
AMS accreditation is a process available to eligible schools that are committed to ongoing school improvement and are seeking validation of their high-quality Montessori programs.

Committee Mission Statement
The mission of WRM’s Faculty/Staff Diversity Advocacy and Awareness (DAA) committee is to foster learning environments where all students feel empowered to bring their full, authentic selves to campus, develop respect and appreciation for others, and become prepared to participate harmoniously in our socially diverse world. We seek to plant seeds for understanding and appreciating the characteristics that reveal human diversity, including but not limited to cultural identity, gender, religion, and ability. We want all members of our community to feel at home at White Rock Montessori embracing all the ways that make individuals unique and special in alignment with our school’s vision:

Ferguson Road Initiative
Founder's Circle Member
The Ferguson Road Initiative is a grassroots community-based organization comprised of HOAs, Neighborhood Associations, Crime Watch, Volunteer-in-Patrol groups, law enforcement, nonprofits, apartments, businesses, faith-based groups, schools, and other concerned constituencies, all working towards accomplishing a shared mission and vision.
Established in 1998 as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, the Ferguson Road Initiative was formed by neighborhood leadership. We united and began proactively addressing crime issues that were the root cause of the area’s urban blight, business degeneration, retail abandonment, poor DISD school performance, substandard multi-family housing and diminishing property values. Today, FRI engages in law enforcement, community policing, health, education, and housing initiatives in a holistic effort to restore this Far East Dallas community through crime reduction, public safety, economic development, and quality of life programs benefiting more than 93,000 residents.
