Lower Elementary teachers work together with their co-teachers to facilitate lessons and help each child grow academically, emotionally, physically, and socially, in alignment with with Dr. Maria Montessori’s principles. Lower Elementary encompasses students in the 1st through 3rd grades.

The Primary Assistant Teacher will take direction from the Lead Teacher or School Director in the preparation and maintenance of the Montessori environment for students. This includes organizing and maintaining classroom materials, supervising lunchtime, the set-up and clean-up of the classroom, and other duties as assigned.

Substitute teachers carry out the daily educational program when a teacher is absent. As a substitute teacher, you will have an opportunity to amplify and develop your teaching expertise, provide a great learning experience for students, and become an integral part of the school’s educational team!
