2024-2025 Upper Elementary Teacher

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
• Montessori credential required (or a willingness to obtain a credential), AMS credential preferred
• Teaching experience preferred
• Advanced degree desirable
• Demonstrated effectiveness in working with children

Skills:

• High flexibility, communication, and organizational skills are needed to collaborate with multiple co-teachers effectively
• Ability to communicate effectively, succinctly, and professionally to parents in both oral and written forms
• Creative, resourceful, and innovative in classroom practices
• Knowledge of and willingness to further education in Positive Discipline methods
• Responsibilities are met in a timely manner, a strong work ethic is demonstrated
• Proficient in crafting clear, concise, and effective written communication
• Deep understanding of, and commitment to, providing an authentic Montessori education
• Contribute to a positive school-wide work culture

2023-2024 Substitute

Substitute teachers carry out the daily educational program when a teacher is absent. As a substitute teacher, you will have an opportunity to amplify and develop your teaching expertise, provide a great learning experience for students, and become an integral part of the school’s educational team!
