Connie Laufersky

Connie Laufersky has been involved in Montessori education for over 20 years, having begun her Montessori journey when her children were enrolled in a Montessori school during their preschool years. She holds a BS in Earth Science, with a minor in Music from Michigan State University, has her MEd in Education with an emphasis on Montessori Integrated Studies, holds Montessori credentials in Secondary I, Secondary II, and Administration, and recently completed her state certification in School Leadership. Ms. Laufersky loves anything to do with the outdoors, is a yoga enthusiast, and enjoys spending time with her husband, four children, and her family’s fur-babies. She is originally from northern Michigan and loves spending time there whenever she is able.


Melanie Dizdar

Melanie Dizdar was introduced to Montessori when her mother worked at Montessori Children’s House and School. She fell in love with the Montessori method while working as a teacher’s assistant in their summer program. Graduating from the University of Texas at Dallas with her BS in Accounting and Information Systems, Ms. Melanie realized that supporting Montessori education was her true passion. Beginning at the front desk at WRM in 2009, she has fulfilled various duties in the administrative office and now works as the Technology and Business Coordinator. Melanie loves music, photography, and her family pets - all four of them!


Linda Griffith

Linda is married and has 5 children, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Beginning in 1962, Linda opened a daycare in her home then went on to work in various capacities in the corporate world before taking a job as an Administrative Assistant to Marie Moseley at St. James Montessori School (now St. James Episcopal School) where she remained for seven years.  She then worked as a Legal Assistant to various lawyers before finding her ideal job as an Administrative Assistant to Sue Henry at WRMS.  After working for 12 ½ years here she reluctantly decided to retire and spend more time with her family. Each and every time she went by WRMS she wished she could come back to work here and she finally got her wish and is the Front Desk Coordinator here now.  She remembers what she said when she came to WRMS - “this is me - this is where I want to be!”  Every day when she comes in the school driveway she realizes how lucky she is to be back working with her WRMS family!!


Scott Connery

Scott Connery is a St. Mark's alumnus and holds a Bachelors in Business Administration from Babson University in Boston, MA. He holds AMS certifications for Lower and Upper Elementary, and has been a teacher at Montessori schools since 2007. He is joined at WRM with his wife, his daughter, and his dog Genevieve. Mr. Connery enjoys a diverse array of hobbies that range from camping and hiking, to welding, car repair, chain sawing, and miniature war-gaming.

Courtney Hodges is a Dallas native and grew up in the Garland area. She graduated from Texas State University-San Marcos with a BA in Journalism & Mass Communication. Courtney first began her career in radio administration and then ventured into restaurant marketing and advertising. She enjoys working out,  and being outdoors. She currently resides with her sweet Basset Hound, Rocket Bean.


Mya Jones

Mya Jones is a Dallas native, and grew up in the area. She is adopted, and one of seven siblings to parents who were also foster parents during her entire childhood. Growing up, she always had a passion for adoption, and knew one day she would adopt too. Mya has been married to her husband Matt, for ten years and they have five children. They have two biological boys, and adopted a sibling set of three in May of 2016 so they currently have a four year old son, five year old daughter, six year old son, seven year old son, and a fifteen year old daughter.

Mya’s passion is organizing, coordinating, scheduling, and making all things happen behind the curtain. She has been an administrative assistant/personal assistant for 12 years. It’s a career that is truly her dream job.
