At White Rock Montessori, children ages 3-12 attend weekly classes taught by a specialist in the field. Classes might involve the enjoyment of rhythm games, playing various instruments such as African drums or recorders, singing, folk dancing, notation or music appreciation. Individual classrooms offer a myriad of music activities and materials for students to explore freely during the course of each day. Every attempt is made to integrate music into the rest of the curriculum.
