ADMISSIONS AND ENROLLMENT

The following steps must be completed in the enrollment process. All openings are generally filled and enrollment closed by April 1st.

Admissions Checklist

Step One: Attend a Prospective Parent Information Session

Sign up for this information session designed for those who are new to Montessori or want to learn more about White Rock Montessori before submitting an application/paying the fee. Come learn more about Montessori philosophy, specifics about WRM's program, and watch the inner workings of our classrooms through our observation windows. Director Connie Laufersky will facilitate, ending with a question and answer session.

Step Two: Application and Application Fee

Complete the Application for Admission and $75 Application Fee through our website.

Step Three: Initial School Tour

Email connie@whiterockmontessori.org to schedule a tour with our school Director. This visit typically lasts about 30 minutes and is intended to give parents a closer view of the school and ask specific questions of the Director. Please make other arrangements for your children during this time. If you have not already reviewed our school's Frequently Asked Questions, please do so before your tour.

Step Four: Parent Classroom Observation

After your tour, the school will contact you to schedule an observation in one of the classrooms. These parent-only observations typically begin in February and last approximately 30 minutes. Please make other arrangements for your children during this time.

Step Five: Records and Recommendations

Complete a Teacher Recommendation Request Form, if applicable. By submitting this form, an email is automatically sent to the referenced teacher(s). Please inform them to expect this email and let them know it is important they complete the forms as soon as possible. Complete a Request for Records form and submit it to the office at your child's present school.

Step Six: Student Visit

The school will schedule a visit for your child after the Parent Observation.

Step Seven: Interview or Visit Follow-Up

We will place a call following your student's visit, offering feedback and answering further questions. Offers of enrollment will be confirmed by the Director after a student has visited.

Step Eight: Finalize Enrollment

Once an offer of enrollment has been made, you may secure your child's place by submitting the signed Enrollment Contract, non-refundable Enrollment Fee, and complete SMART tuition form.
